THE DEEPEST CARD
Football.
More markets than any other sport, and the only major one where a draw is a standard outcome. That single fact explains double chance, draw no bet and the whole Asian handicap family.

SPORT BY SPORT
A market family behaves differently depending on the sport it sits in. Football has a draw and therefore a whole set of markets built around it. Basketball has none, so the spread does the work. Totals in a two-hundred-point sport track pace, while totals in a two-goal sport turn on a single deflection.
Start with the sport you already follow closely. Knowing what a normal game looks like is worth more than knowing every market name.

Much of what people notice on a sportsbook comes from the platform behind it rather than the brand on the header, which is why books with very different marketing can behave almost identically. The signals worth comparing are practical ones, and advertised sport counts are the least informative of the lot.
Fifteen markets on a fixture means results and goals only. Two hundred means half-time, corners, cards and player lines as well.
Compare sportsbooksHow clearly a running event is presented, and how quickly markets return after a suspension.
Compare sportsbooksMost betting happens on a phone, so judge a sportsbook on its mobile bet slip rather than its desktop one.
Compare sportsbooksA bet history that shows the market, the line, the price taken and why a bet settled the way it did.

READ THE CONDITIONS
A promotion’s value is almost never in the advertised figure. It is in the turnover requirement, the minimum price, the expiry window and whether a winning free bet returns your stake. A small bonus at 2x turnover regularly beats a large one at 10x.
6x on a bonus and 6x on deposit plus bonus are the same headline and double the obligation.
How requirements workA 20 free bet at 3.00 returns 40, not the 60 a cash bet of the same size would return.
Promotion arithmeticEducational examples only. There are no active P77SPORT promotions and no offer values are advertised on this site.
HOW TO USE THIS SITE
Everything here works in a browser, on any device,
with nothing to download and no account required.
Most sports betting happens on mobile, so the guides are structured for short sessions on a small screen.
Getting started, finding events, reading market names and the technical issues that come up most.
No app, no registration and no deposit. Read a guide, then take it to whichever sportsbook you use.
IF YOU ARE STARTING OUT
Event, market, selection, settlement rules, stake. Five parts, in that order.
Divide 1 by the decimal odds. That gives you the probability the market implies.
Learn its market families properly rather than a little of all five.
The fourth step is the one that matters most and it has nothing to do with markets: decide a budget and a stopping point before you place anything. Bankroll management covers stake sizing, and responsible gambling covers keeping the whole activity in proportion.

P77SPORT is a sports-first betting resource. We publish guides explaining how sportsbook markets, odds and promotions work across football, basketball, tennis, badminton and esports. We do not operate a sportsbook and we do not accept bets.
A sportsbook publishes a price for each possible outcome of a market within an event. You stake an amount on one selection, and a winning bet returns the stake multiplied by the price. Every price includes the sportsbook's margin, which is why betting has a negative expected value over time.
Football and basketball are the most widely covered and the best documented. Football has the deepest market card; basketball has the simplest structure, because there is no draw and almost everything runs through the spread and the total.
No. Account registration, deposits, withdrawals and bet placement are not available on this site. The Login and Join buttons do not create or access an account.
No. There are no active offers, and no bonus value, free bet or promotional term is advertised anywhere on this site. Our promotions page explains how sportsbook offers are structured instead.
Not reliably. The margin built into every price means a typical customer loses money over time, and no staking system changes that. Betting is best treated as entertainment with a budget you can afford to lose.
